Specialty Printing
uses a variety of durable label materials that all offer
exceptional stability under many conditions,
are tear and puncture resistant, pressure
sensitive or static
cling,
water resistant and will easily tolerate extremes in temperatures.
- Poly and Vinyl Labels: including Mylar (manufactured by 3M); extremely
durable, heavy-duty material.
- Lexan Labels: (manufactured
by GE) allows for sub-surface printing, so no oxygen
is able to get to the ink, absolutely no fading
will ever occur.
- Aluminum Labels:
a malleable aluminum material - typically used for nameplates
and serial labels.
- Reflective Labels: a shiny type of material that is attention grabbing – typically
used for the construction and automotive industries.
